A one-day course to learn how to make wooden jewellery with Helen Lauder.

A one day course to learn how to make jewellery using plywood or hardwood combined with a variety of wooden beads.

  • Use different types of hardwood and birch plywood.
  • Learn how to design your own unique item.
  • Shape your chosen materials using saws, sanders and bench drills in the teaching barn.
  • Use hand tools to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Finish using coloured wood-stains and clear varnish.
  • Thread onto a silk thread secured with silver carabiner and end loops
  • Finish a handmade unique necklace for yourself or as a gift.
